Dr. McDonald graduated from Rockhurst University with a BS in Biology (Pre-Med). She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the University of Health Sciences in 2003. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine in 2004 from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. She also completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 2008 and a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology in 2009 from the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. McDonald is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology.
