Dr. Yungmeyer earned a BA degree in Biology in 1983 at Hasting College. He completed his medical degree (M.D.) at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1987. His radiology residency was completed at the Medical College of Georgia in 1996.

Dr. Yungmeyer is board certified by the American Board of Radiology specializing in Diagnostic Radiology.
